No, we did not partner with ICF on this... we are not ICF accredited.
Here's why: (this is from the first draft of our script... you can use this copy to come up with a verbal and written response for people)
Now sometimes people ask if our Virtual Coach program is accredited by the International Coaching Federation. The answer is no, and there’s a very good reason for this.
We have great respect for the International Coaching Federation, and there are some good coaching programs out there accredited by ICF.
But here’s the issue for us… Virtual Coach is different from the vast majority of coach training out there because we give you these two things simultaneously: Next Level Coaching Training PLUS Cutting Edge Online Business Training. This is the magic formula that can be the true key to your success.
To really make it and become a high-paid Virtual Coach, we believe that you MUST have both:
Next Level Coaching Training + Cutting Edge Online Business Training.
To give you the best cutting edge “online business training”, we can’t allow an outside organization to tell us what we can and can’t teach you. That would be a huge disservice to our Virtual Coach students.
We also can’t slow down our entire training process to get all of our training reviewed and approved by an outside organization - especially when it takes up to six months to approve new training. Can you imagine if we had to wait for 6 months or longer before we showed you the newest cutting edge way to get coaching clients on Facebook? By the time we got your training approved, it would no longer be cutting edge, it would be old and obsolete.
This is also the reason that you can’t get the best online business training at universities and colleges. By the time universities get information approved and into their textbooks, the information is already old and obsolete.
Once again, imagine if we had to wait 6 months or longer to show you the newest way to get coaching clients with Google re-marketing. By the time our training was approved, it would be too old and might not work anymore. It certainly wouldn’t be cutting edge.
And this is why Virtual Coach is not affiliated with ICF or any other organization that could limit our ability to provide our students with cutting edge online business training.
In our experience, none of this really matters to your clients anyway. The vast majority of coaching clients don’t care who you’re certified with, or who you’re not certified with. They just want to know that you’re certified.
Remember, 99% your potential clients are not online searching for a coach, but they are online looking for solutions to their problems. If you can create a really great Client Magnet that solves an important problem for them for free, they’ll trust you. And you’ll talk to them about your coaching services after they already trust you - and when they see your Virtual Coach Certification Badge, they’ll trust you even more. The certification is important, but it’s really just icing on the cake when it comes to getting clients online.
When you are officially certified as a Virtual Coach we’ll give you this professional certification badge that you can put on your website, Facebook, your emails, and anywhere else that you want to use it. This official badge will let everyone know that you are a professional “Certified Virtual Coach”. It will boost your confidence and can give you the extra credibility that you need to turn potential clients into paying clients.

G'day Eben & Annie,
I appreciate the two-pronged approach of Coaching Training and On-line Business Training, and while having benefited from Certification in two of the coaching courses in the WBECS stable, (Conversational Intelligence- C-IQ and Coaching Marketing Training), plus some initiation in the Spiral Dynamics modality, it is the binary integration you both are offering that will get me up and running quickly.
Spiral on!
Dr John
